WHY REFLECTION?

Writing is a process. Writing is a journey, especially when we are writing about ourselves. Writing about sexual trauma is not easy, and you are courageous to have put your story to paper. It important to acknowledge what you have created and reclaimed through this workshop and to validate the meaning of your experience. Your story matters. You matter. And you are brave.

For the final exercise of the workshop, write down five action verbs with an -ing ending (such as running, chasing, breathing, etc.) Then in front of each word, write the phrase "Healing is like..." Use one of those sentences to write about your experience with this workshop.
